Anywhere is a well-funded, new startup with a goal to organize remote work and make it productive, flexible, delightful, and local. We have launched a new kind of workspace experience featuring a new workspace-as-a-service concept. Our mission: Together, we’re working towards greater wellbeing.
We are looking for a HR Generalist who will be responsible for sourcing, hiring, welcoming, and onboarding new employees, as well as managing employee records and relations, and touch virtually every employee with what they do. We are looking for someone with passion, knowledge, and some experience in remote work and hybrid work arrangements as we are an all-remote company.
As a successful HR Generalist you will source candidates from agencies, LinkedIn, and existing employee networks to enhance the number of candidates in each stage of the hiring funnel. You will work with Greenhouse and ensure our candidate experience is optimal and keep us honest about our part in the process. At the moment we are hiring people in the US and are expecting significant headcount growth. We estimate that this responsibility area will take about 70% of your time.
You will manage employee relations and related programs, advise and set employee performance reviews, help with employee compensation, benefits, and training, and keep up-to-date employee records. We estimate that this responsibility area will take about 20% of your time.
You will be measured on employee retention rates and will take ownership of our employee experience while working closely with the founders. You will work with people managers on identifying and meeting employee career goals, advise on performance management issues and lead minor investigations and reorganizations, identify opportunities to improve HR policies by connecting the dots across multiple experiences of employees and managers, and establish an Anywhere graduation/alumni network. We estimate that this responsibility area will take about 10% of your time.
Our process involves a series of interviews and potentially an exercise and presentation. Anywhere is an all-remote company with a current employee base in New York City and Israel.
We estimate that the post-COVID work environment will be hybrid and more and more organizations will allow employees to work 2-3 days a week from home. The service we are working on is aimed to enable this transformation. We launched the Anywhere service in 2021, and we are already engaged with several design partners from leading tech companies collaborating with us on shaping the future of remote work.
